If you looking at 2-4lb, look at crystal Fireline, otherwise go to a good PE 0.4-0.6 which will be 4-8lb. Any thinner than that and you will struggle to stay wind knot free.

+ 1 for the TD Sensor Braid. Either 4 or 6 pond should do the job nicely.

I've used 6lb rockfish on my 1000 stella for the past year, and i love it. It still scares me how thin it is!
I recently bought a spool of Sunline Small Game PE, which seems identical (including in price range) to the same 0.3 PE in rockfish, except it is pink and comes in a slightly longer spool... although i'm yet to test it on my reel. I'm curious if anyone else has used this before... http://translate.google.com.au/trans...2Bpe%26hl%3Den

I suggest 3-4lb Rockfish as well as PE-EGI, smooth very good lines and cast a mile. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BY NOW FROM EXPERIENCE!

Daiwa Tournament 4lb . Available Bluewater Melville. I also have frog and fireline but prefer the Tournament.

Been using Varivas Sea Bass exclusively for the last few years but decided to give the 4lb rock fish a go for the sake of it. As others have said very nice line. Ties well, very thin and is a nice visible colour. Thumbs up.
