hey man
in the esturies i like to use light rods i target bream using tiny placcies like 2" grubs and 1" nymphs i use my Garry Howard custom edition. its 1-4kg and i love it for all bream fishing. my mate has also jsut bought a cheaper 1-3kg and it is also amazing. pretty much jsut any good quality lighter rods i guess. but it all comes down to what you like hope this helps. cheers

how much are you looking to spend.
if your running a budget ($150 or less) check out the pflueger trion tournament range, 2-5kg, but deceptively light for its rating. |

agree awesome rods for the coin! my 2 cents is pretty much the same as haydenns, something light, graphite, around 7 foot give or take depending on preference. cheers stealth

Best to get one customed made for you.
Doesn't matter what other people thinks in the end the major matter is how it feels to YOU. Call up Millerrods, hotrods etc and tell them what you would like in a rod and get it to your liking. And in the end, chances are in your head it will be, the best estuary rod you can have.... hth's dude. -Pivot- |
