Baitcaster Rod - Suggestions?

Hey guys,

Interested in getting a baitcaster rod to match up with my zillion. But, within the baitcasting terms. I'm clueless. So in that note, I just want to ask what rod I should be considering. Its gonna be used for quite alot of things such as Jacks, bigger estuary species, shallow reef fish and awoonga. Still unsure what weigh I should go for thinking along the lines of 3-6 kg. I'm thinking $350 MAX for the rod.
Thanks in advance,

-Pivot-

Aren't you a fanboy of Nitro Rods In all seriousness they make a few models that seem to be what your looking for and only about $320.

Check out some JDM bass rods on PLAT. They have heaps of medium and medium heavy baitcasting rods. $350 could get you a bloody nice rod from japan.

http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/p...-glc-662m.html

That rod shipped would end up a bit more than $350, but its made in japan and just look at it... Just check out plat, they have a large range of jdm bc rods.

Cheers,

Daiwafreak

Hey mate,

IMO 6-12kg would probably be a bit too heavy for what I plan to use it for.
Its a good price, if it was a bit lighter I would definately consider taking it.
Thanks for the interest still.
cheers,

I remember getting a quote from them. 2 piece rods will be around 30-50, don't remember exactly how much. You can post up to 3x 2 piece rods in a tube aswell, so if you can find somebody to order rods with you, you could probably split postage costs ect.

Cheers,

I agree with you, the Battler rods are awesome, slightly heavy in weight though. I found this on ebay, you may be interested.
