advantage - kix

Hey guys,
I was looking at grabbing another 1500 caldia kix as an extra but I'm trying to work out the fundamental internal differences between the caldia kix and the current td advantage, as far as i know the advantage has a bearing in the line roller which the kix does not, but is that all? because the advantage is quite a few bucks cheaper to my door

Michael.

i know they look the same, but for some reason the advantage is a bit heavier from memory.

If you are referring to the old (silver) caldia kix, the caldia kix only has 5+1 ball bearing while the advantage has 6+1. The advantage has 2 CRBB's and the rest are Stainless Steel. Not sure how many bearings are CRBB's in the Caldia.

If you are talking about the new caldia, then yeh its pretty much the same besides colour, spool choices ect.

Hope this helps.
