Markston reels
i hope i have got the brand name spelt right, have seen these reels in 2 retail outlets, they seem good value and feel nice, any commnets?

haven't heard of these reels so can't comment,on appearence though they seem on the cheaper end of the scale.

1 ball bearing, graphite chromed spool.... I know I work for Breammaster guys but you'd be better off sticking to a Kmart outfit for $25.
I would not be comfortable with my expensive fire lines on anything but alloy/metal, and if you were a young kid or new to the sport on a budget, there are nice "Good Quality" reels out there that won't break the bank. Please ,no offence to Rod, but i'd avoid those ones Regards Geoff
