The DSR820S is an excellent alround bream rod for sp, hard bods or blades and normally retails for close to $500.

I have one, bought it of BM secondhand last year - fantastic rod for an all rounder. I put on a Shimano Soare 30HGS reel, frog braid and it has cuaght some good fish.

Great rod. I've had one for years, has a great feel to it. Only problem i have is i fish from a kayak and the butt length gets in the way when it's in the holder. I've thought about chopping it down but don't want to change the way it feels and the balance. I have some other great rods as well i.e Samurai, Millers breambusters, Hot Rods etc. The Loomis isn't the coolest rod i own but it's probably my favourite for bream fishing.
