Angler Stealth or Berkley Dropshop Tournement Pro
Am on the prowl for another spin stick, budget is tight otherwise I'd just buy another live fibre blade n tails so looking around the second hand market.
Pretty sure I know where this is gonna end up, but wondered if there are any users out there who can help me with what each is like or even compare the two. Both rods are 1-3kg models & will probably be used for throwing lightly weighted soft plastics with either a 1500 size exceller or capricorn Also considering a new Penn Pinpoint Tournament PPT 610 SPX, yes different line class, but am not a big fan of the wind up foregrip. Again though discussion on this welcome also.

Da Bman, good suggestion, had a play with one before and I'm sure I can bag one for less again.

Coonta,
I have a brand new Berkley Dropshot Tournament Pro that is unused with plastic still on cork. Great rod but I have too many !!!! These are the specs: Features IM7 rated graphite blanks, Fuji SIC guides, Fuji reel seat and cork grips. It has a crisp action that can cover just about any style of fishing. Comes with a protective cloth rod bag. Model - DSTP 701-13 so its a 7' long, 1-3kg, 1 piece rod. I see your budget is tight but I think we can work something out. I am happy to courier it over to SA so if interested you can call me on 0419 389 853. |

Thanks Mastro, but after a session on the bream yesterday, have decided a 1-3kg is gonna be too light for its intended use

I have the Penn Pinpoint Tournament 610 SPX. I use it for everything from flathead to big snapper. Great rod for a great price.
