Moore River

Hi Guys,
Before I ring the caravan park to see if the bar has broken, does anyone know if the river has water in it at the moment?

Hey Bubba, I was up there no more than 4 weeks ago and it was very low with the bar still open. A rellie of mine is up there and said it has broken more times this year than any other year. It has obviously filled and broke again within 4 weeks so my guess is it won't take long to fill again. BTW the fishing was a little slow down river.

fished ok for us - fair few little ones and stevo got dusted up by something decent up in the sticks.

only problem with low water at this time of year is the cannoes and hire boat are always driving on top of you.

As previously mentioned my mate now runs the Top Shop (garage) at Moore River, I spoke to him this morning and the bar is closed. If you are ever up there call in and grab a burger or some of thier famous fish and chips.
Ask for Corke tell them Yardi sent you in and if your real friendly he may give you his mobile number, so then you can get all the info you need, his bedroom window looks directly at the mouth of the river.
Cheers
Yardi

You might have to blow the cobwebs off the gear first. The boat might not float anymore either.
Just go, you know you want to.

Moore is fishing fine, we fished it in 3 yaks a couple of weeks ago on a Monday. The mouth had opened a few days before our visit but was closed when we were there. We got 40 bream between us.
