Thumbs up Servicing threadline front drags

Guys any info on the best way to service the drags on front drag threadlines, in terms of what is the best way to clean the washers & what lubricant to put on them.

Cheers

That really depoends on the drag type and how it is intended to be used. Some are of the "oiled felt" type, some are designed to run dry, some woprk best with some graphite powder, etc.

Typical small threadlines have oiled felt (the material may not actually be felt) and I like the Erskine 025 grease on these.
A light, waterproof grease is a generic description of what works on these, a mineral oil should also work fine, something like 30 weight motor oil would be quite appropriate, it isn't exactly arduous service so the cheap stuff will be as good as the most expensive.
