Noise in sol
Hi guys,
My new 2000 sol(used it twice) seams to have some slight gear noise/grinding when retriving. I can feel it when the shaft is approaching its top/botttom end, but when I go in reverse its silky smooth. Should this be addressed or am I been nitpicking? |

go down to the shop where you bought it and have a play with another new one if there is a difference then get them to send yours back under warranty...
cheers

If it's really noticeable then maybe you take it back where you bought it and get it checked out, where did you by it?

This is a reoccuring problem for me as well. It happened to my Cy 3000, Exceler Plus 2000 and even my Advantage 4000 (after one trip!). The Cy I can understand, it is cheap, but I expected more from the Advantage. I'm going to be buying Shimano now. No problems with them! My Stradic has taken a flogging and it feels like new.
Can anyone confirm what the problem could be?
