Caldia Kix HELP

I just purchased a Caldia Kix 2506W off ebay about a month ago. When the reel arrived, it had a lot of touch ups, but i wasn't that fussed. However, there is a part where it says "TD" on the reel, then the part next to it touched up in silver. I don't think that the body is actually from a Caldia Kix, the rotor also has the R4 symbol on it. Does anybody else own one of these? Is the TD supposed to be there? Or what reel is that body from? Any help will be appreciated.

I should also note that it was advertised as a Caldia Kix 2508W Custom.

Cheers,

Daiwafreak

Well, If its an Advantage, on paper, the Advantage has 1 more ball bearing than the Caldia Kix. Also, I think the handle is off a Caldia Kix 2508W Custom which was what it was advertised as.

Cheers

Haha, got it for just over 100. Dunno if thats cheap or not, but I'm pretty happy with the reels performance. Btw, i purchased this reel from a guy off ebay who is currently selling a PINK Luna... I wouldn't buy stuff from him, he probably gets random parts and chucks together reels.

Also, does anybody know where i can get this reel resprayed??? I am looking to do it in a Pearl White.

Cheers

that guy's extremely dodgy. basically he buys parts for like 10 bucks a kilo and try to put all the bits and pcs together than sell as it is.

those reels won't last and most will be gone in few sessions.

either its an advantage or its had the reel stem replaced as well as the main shaft. probs an advantage and has had the main shaft rteplaced to accomodate the kix spool (thats if they dont already fit).
to get a 2000 or 2004 spool on my 2004 saltist gekks ill need to replace the main shaft, so im guessing it would be an advantage with a kix spool in it man.
otherwise i dare say it wouldve been shrashed to the bone.

caldia kix isnt a team daiwa therefore there shouldnt be TD written on the reel anywhere thats why we are under the impression its and advantage with the kix spool and handle and it also looks to be touched up to cover other things...

VF shouldnt be to hard might have some trouble with the new zaion body reels as they will be hard to prime and get paint to stick to..

PM sent to VF.

The double handle on the reel has the KIX symbol on it. So im pretty sure its from the 2508W Custom. The reel is decently smooth but makes a bit of a grinding noise especially with the anti reverse switched on.

Cheers
