i picked up a 2508 steez at complete angler in bentleigh, melbourne the other day, $719.00 what a bargin. the best price i could do other wise was $830.00.
most of there diawa stuff, were good prices

yer i did, they best price was $790.00 i have been looking for a couple of months, i finally bit the bullet (tax) and im so pleased with it.

i put it on a G.loomis GLX DSR 820. its a nice little combo. i also put some 2lb fire line crystal on the spool, it casts nicely.

the recoil isnt to bad in my loomis rods, the steez rods have less recoil.

thankyou duffman, the titanium recoil guides, i have those on my shimano t curve flight. none of my loomis's have them. i am not a great fan of them there quite noisy.

are you sure your rod is a glx?
