Question Largest bream caught

What is the state record for the largest Bream caught in WA?
I read somewhere it was 2.890 kg caught on 18 August 1991 in the Swan River Estuary.

Is this still current or has it been beaten??

A bloke in a tackle shop gave me a bream measuring sticker produced by fishcare listing average ages and weights corresponding to length, it also has a few breamy facts on it, including the fact that they can grow upto 60cm and 4kg in weight!

Dunno where they got this info and its a Victorian sticker, but that is a HUGE bream!

there's a mould of a big one in a port macquarie tackle store. the owner told me an old bloke caught it in a lake south of port, a massive fish, he was half way through cleaning it at the ramp when he was approached by someone who said WTF. from memory it was around the 4kg mark.
