Ipod help

hi all i just gota new ipod touch 8gb and im having trouble putting youtube vids on it does anyone know how to do it?

I don't know if you can put youtube vids on there. To play the file it must be in Mpeg format and then imported into Itunes or whatever you are using to save music to your iPod. If you can save the video off youtube (not sure you can except saving the URL, if you can please someone tell me) as a file and convert it to an Mpeg, you can then import it to itunes and your ipod.

Ipod touch uses the mp4 (H264) video codec
You can convert video files in iTunes to this format but You tube videos are in flash (.flv) format which is not convertible by iTunes.

I just checked and there are Flash converters out there that will convert flash files to .wmv files and mpegs for iPods. Just google it and you will see some good ones.
