Never leave gear unattended

Guys and Girls just a little reminder,
Went for a flick at a local haunt this arfternoon to kill sometime,
i carry my gear in a bacpack and usually just dump it on the ground and walk up and down the shore casting, well this arvo i walked about 30m from my bag and had my back turned casting, 5 minutes was all it took for someone to pinch the bag with all my bream lures, sony cybershot camera (xmas present) and my wallet containing about 50 in cash and my emergency credit card. I think what hurts the most is that i was stupid enough to turn my back.
Visited the local police station and was told that the only thing they can do is file a report and check the local pawn shop. but theres really no way of telling if someone has my lures as there all availiable in shops.
The police were also a bit arrogant when i told them what my lures were worth and never took me seriously until my grandfather interjected and explained that some lures you can pay near $50 for and that id spent every cent of my holiday pay on lures.

anyway just a harsh reminder that you cant trust anyone these days and how sad the world is getting.

stolen gear

i know they wont hold as much gear but i wear a fly vest with large pockets
& bought lure boxes to suit carries enough for me , no risk of getting any thing stolen. all u can hope is the bastard plays with the lures & gets one of those owner trebles buried good & deep in his thieving, poxey hand.
