New Fluorocarbon

I am going to be running straight through fluorocarbon.
I was looking at either Megabass Dragon Call SD4 Fluorocarbon, Daiwa Steez Fluorocarbon or Bawo Super Hard Super Finesse
but i am open to any other suggestions.
Please note that I am willing to buy from overseas if i need to.
this is for a spinning reel to.... I just haven't decided which one yet

All in either 4 or 6lb

Iv 2lb yamatoyo and 3lb trilene.
Hey Spiro i havnt tryed the varivas yet? the yamatoyo is super fine so its what iv been using, will have to try it though, i do use the varivas leader and its great, iv muscled kg plus Derwent bream away from the bridges on the 3lb and its never let me down.

CJA12005, using straight through just adds another string to the bow, in the case of fishing clear water flats, super clear, straight through is great as its pretty in not seen by the fish, even better as your probably casting over there heads. Also IMO, it makes the lure work a little different, as the give in the line, as you twtch or jerk it, is not as aggressive as with braid, and if you set your gear up right it can cast further, i know Steve Morgan swears by FC.
It can have its down sides to, missed hookups being one, and it takes a bit of getting use to as well to tell the diff between a hit and a snag, but well worth it once you get the hang of it.

plus if you snag up in comps you dont have to waste time tying up new leaders when your tryin to catch fish

personally i couldnt get used to it so i went back to braid, FC is not how i roll

i think its a major plus when your fishing hard hit areas/clear still conditions....
does take a little getting use to, but for good effect imo

Thank for the replies boys, all makes sense when you take clear water flats situations into consideration as they can get spooked quite easily.

I have to admit that retying leaders can be a pain in the ass and usually happen at the worst possible times, (windy conditions, hot bite... etc) like you don't already know.

Horses for courses so to speak.

Appreciate it guys.

Cheers,

Yeah I liked the look of the stout for one of my steez's but went with Rock FC due to not being able to get the Stout at the time, Are you going to try it out?
if so let me know how it goes, Yeah i had a look at the varivas mebaru online but haven't really been sold on it..... is it tinted or clear?
