Brady
The 6'9 2-4kg would be my pick for racks. The 7' 2-5 is the same blank with a longer butt and hence more grunt. Being a touch shorter the 6'9 will be a bit more accurate in the racks at short range and don't worry has more than enough grunt. The 7' is a great rod and would suit big southern and western bream. There is a 6'10 which was originally labelled a 2-4 but is really a 1-3kg and is now rated as such. All of them are top rods...love mine and it would take something very special to make me change. seamonkey - does the 6'10 model come with that awsome butt with the reverse real seat?
Im assuming the 7 foot model (used by Scotty Towner) is the one with the split grip. Im really keen on the 6'10 to match with a Luvias 1003 for ultra light breaming. Cheers Isaac |

No...the 6'10 has a conventional butt. Still comfortable though. If you can, try one on the Luvias see how it balances out. Scott uses the 6'9 for everything and that has the reverse split grip as has the 7'. I believe he runs a 6'10 for 2lb FC straight thru if he want to go ultra light. Cheers smky |

iv got the 6;9 2-4kg ptrotactic, iv used alot of rods and this is one of the very best iv used very sensative tip and has loads of power i use it most with plastics along rock walls and HB but iv also spooled up some heavier braid on a 2000Sol and will be using it in the racks. get one!!!

Top one is the 6'10 Next one is the 7'. The 6'9 is the same but the exposed blank bit is about half the length in the picture. Next two are heavier models I haven't seen. Cheers smky |

lovely feeling rod though it was probably just bashed around abit in the shop my only gripe is that the reel seat can be tightened sufficiently as to break the cork foregrip which is the other issue with mine :/ |

Got the 6'10 and have only had it for a short while, its great for the very light stuff and as was said before it rates more like a 1-3 and not a 2-4.
Besides that a very well priced rod.

Get one champ, I've had my 6'10 pro tactic for 3 or 4 years now and it is the only bream rod i use. It's that good, there is no need for another rod! Perfect for hard bods and also handles itself very well with plastics. Very sensitive with plenty of balls. Basically, you can't afford not to buy one!
