That`s simple mate, put a hook in one!No just kidding mate,i usually just use a very slow retrieve, without to much jigging movement, that normally works for me,but have a look at this link which was previously post,in this forum http://www.purefishing.com.au/roytervision/

I just let them hit the bottom, pause, a couple of jerks, then wind, drop, a couple of jerks, wind, and so on. Works for me on bream and flatties.

Where abouts in the Barwon mate???? i've pulled a few off the bridge and working the banks towards the boat ramp.

Just rig them with a small stinger hook in the tail and let them sit. then jiggle jiggle, sit, and repeat. the whiting love em there. As for upstream further.....dunno.

I'll tell after Christmas/New Years, will be spending a few weeks down at Ocean Grove.

Spot on. Make sure you rig up with the stinger hook. I've caught every single one (except 1) of my breams on the stinger. Can stress it enough.

The beauty of the camo worm is that you can use many different styles of retrieves (fast, slow, jig, no jig) and it'll still work. What you want to do is to adapt a style that you're comfortable with.

Perhaps you can try finding a place with clear water, cast out, watch the lure as you retrieve and tweek your style until it looks realistic.

Keep going at it and no doubt you'll get on a fish very soon.

When the salmons are on the bite, I'm sure you can throw out an empty jighead and they'll still take it

To add a 'bit' of action to the lure one could always try one of these.

Haven't tried it myself but it does look very interesting
