I throw Megabass Dog X Jrs on my Fireblood 1-2kg stick and it only feels slightly overloaded. Worth a try

i will second that with the red peppers, they catch a lot of great fish if worked right, bream do like them. iv taken bream on the r2s rovers but droped heaps of good fish with them too, there action can realy get the bream hitting.lucky craft sammys and the bevy pencil and there nw pencil all work awsome, im yet to try the fakey dog but i now it will work. river 2 sea use to make the bubble pen and iv scored 2 bream on them but do not seem to pull as many as the rover. megabass dog x jr work awsome on bream to but trevs and queenfish allways steal them from me. zarra's have worked for me too but the one lure in this styal that has realy stood out as a winner in my book is the yamaDohDohDohDoha/ mirror(spelling sorry) wise dog, they catch every thing, not just bream. it can be hard to get a hook up with them like the rover for bream but the wise dog works so much better and eazyer, i love them and are my favoret lure at the moment. i droped the biggest tailor in my life yesterday on one after a long drawn out fight on 3lb. i love mid size stick baits, so much fun.
