certate instruction manual

Just got my new certate in the mail today, and it's great.
Only trouble is that the manual is in japanese, anyone know where I can get a copy in english off the net?

Why do you need one? Reels are pretty much self explanatory.
I may be wrong, but most of the daiwa spinning reels manuals are generic anyway apart from maybe the schematic.

...would be kinda good to have a basic english checklist at least...I just got a certate back from Daiwa this week...all the probs I've had with it...ie, noisy roller bearing, slipping anti reverse (...yeah...that knob thing that no-one ever... EVER touches!!!!) were according to Daiwa caused by oiling the outside moving bits...daiwa say never oil these parts...on all the other daiwa non-real-four reels, they instruct you which parts to oil...and which to grease if necessary...so, generic maintenance may be doing the reel no good...according to Daiwa aust...who fixed the probs under warranty, I might add.

...alternatively, you could try some of the jap sites...such as bass.jp translation pages... heres what they say about the Certate...you know you have one of the finest reels ever made...

...Ive never bought a reel from interstate, let alone o/s...never found a Real Four reel to contain a word of English...cept for the warranty card
...this is from certate manual
...they appear to show the line roller being oiled...unless that bit in japanese next to the oil drop says dont do this!!!


...also appear to show other moving parts being sprayed/oiled...bail arm, etc


...but, as mentioned...Daiwa Aust. say dont oil any external bits...and that doing so was what caused the probs....
