I just recieved an email claiming that 2 weeks ago a Giant Sturgeon was caught in the river, anyone else hear anything?



This Sturgeon was caught on the Swan just near Fremantle City two weeks ago. It weighed out at over 1,000 lbs and measured out at 11'1'. It was 56'' around the girth and took over 6 and a half hours, & 4 dozen beers, for the 4 guys taking turns at the reeling it in. Tony Harben did a fantastic job of reeling it in which took just over four hours

I got it a couple of days ago, obviously ':-P' there aren't sturgeon in Australia.

Still a bloody big fish though!
