less snaggy

took both trebles off all my metal vibes and replace it with a single hook at the rear its one of those special lure hooks think gamagatsu[don't have a clue on spelling]. still got fish and didn't snag yet which is good cause in same area fished with trebles was an expensive morning

Definetly a good idea, vibes with the doubles on have less tendency too snag up.
I made some mods too mine, after losing a very effective vibe(and expensive) second outting.
It had a little tail section that flutters on drop, for added attention. So i made my own out of pepsi can!

I've been very impressed with the solid hookups with those Gamakatsu singles, they really hold in well thanks to the wider gape.

What size hook is it?

I bought a packet and put them my vibes and they are a little to big.

Hi Gazza,

Everyone I talked to was not interest in getting in the smaller hooks with the rotated eyelette, I just stumbled across some Gama's in a Ranger store (complete angler more than likely does have them ).

Can I buy them off the net somewhere? I find it very hard to find Decoy stuff, and believe me I have been looking

Cheers

Shane

Gday Shane

In regard to the Decoy singles, GotOne woodvale has stock of the #8's. great little hook's.

Also coming very soon, some new blades from Jazz in Japan. Look very good. Should be in stock shortly.

Cheers
Brody.

ZipBaits Metal Face comes standard with Owner double hooks "snag less" makes sense really considering these type of lures sink to the bottom

The 30mm 1.7g Metal Beat also fitted with a heavy gauge single barbless, they're on the way to be available very shortly, 7 colours including "glow" for a bit of fun at night
