Yay Steve, you're a Trojan mate, great to have you back in the comps, really missed the repartee. Damn fine gesture to track all the way down to the rowing club to donate the amps to the the plants.

Gotta say though it is is real toss-up between seeing Deacs rowing into the wind on day one or his dad's mulla towing their punt all over the river on day two, for the highlight of the weekend

Sorry about being rude about your angling endeavours on the other thread, here is a pic to prove to the doubters that you caught on the weekend

Was good to be back fishing a comp even though l did'nt set the Kalgan alight...Thank's to Pete for showing me a new way to fish when the fish were on the bite(apparantly).l think it was around 6 nil until l woke up and landed one hey Pete.
Also to Toby for putting up with a slow day also on day 2.Thank's for putting up with a little heat stroke, frustrated fisherman mate...had a good laugh and enjoyed the company for sure.
Thankyou Mr Morris for all your kind support over the weekend.lt's people of your fishing calibre that inspire me to get out and break the 810gram wall mate.But seriously was great to see you all again and look forward to doing it again soon. Pizza night was great but my shapely figure went to hell.l think l still have a little bloat in the shot above.
Mmmmmmmm pizza mmmmmmmm beer.

Great weekend guys , i would to thank Steve & Bear my boaters for the two days , i had an awesome time . Also Kalgain River Chalets , Doug for the carton of piss and once again Bear for organising the event . Cant wait for B.E 2008

Sorry for vanishing guys. Got a shock message from home as I was leaving the Kalgan, little man was in hospital having surgery after a mishap at home. Crap drive home after a really good weekend.

At the moment I think he's doing better than Eve and Myself.

I'll have all the results up tonight as well as a few pics of some thumping fish from the weekend.
