Problems with Picture

I've been trying to put a picture of me with a Bass on my avatar but it says that it was to big so I reduced it to 120x120 yet it still says it is too big. Help

Well it looks like you got it to work eventually :-)
Apart from the pixel dimensions (must be under 500px in
width and height I think) there are likely to be restrictions on the file size (measured in bytes or kilobytes), I think it's required to be under 50kB, reducing the resolution down to 72 pixels per inch will help keep the file size down, as will increasing the amount of jpeg compression.
