New Shimano/Miller/Starling Bream rod???

I've heard mention of a collaboration of the three above to put out a new range of rods under the Shimano Banner - one of which is a dedicated Bream rod.

They should be targeted at the average punter and priced accordingly.

I'd heard they are coming out before Christmas - does anyone have any inside info on 'em??

Yeah, Ive seen the list which should hit the shops around christmas at about $130-$150 each. They are just a newer variation of the Stella.

Theres a

Spin, (bream)
Bass, (obviously a touch heavier)
Barra,

And I think a Bass or Barra in the BaitCaster style as well. They are made for the average punter, And by the sounds will be a great range of rods - and thats straight from Ian Miller himself. Obviously the difference between these and his Bream Busters are quality in guides etc and the personal touch. But i`ll definitly have a gander. They are in the tube style as well, not finesse. Id even go as far as reccommending them before they even hit the shops.

Cheers

Richo

Top stuff

I want another rod (don't we all ) that I can be a bit more 'brutal' on - I've already busted one rod recently - I don't want to do it to another

Cheers,

No inside info Dave ,but I'm keen to have a look when they hit the shops .
I read somewhere that Otto's should have them before Christmas.
With Ian Miller's and Steve Starling's input ,they should be a pretty sweet rod .

Question New Rod

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a quality bream rod and found a daiwa procaster Z for $150 is that a good price? And would you recommend it?
The guy said it was on sale due to a new model coming out. I got a 39cm bream on a softy the other day and it's got me wanting to spend some more money. (oh dear). Thanks in advance guys
