Prefered Breaming habitat....

Hi guys.

Just wondering what Bream habitat you personally find most successful? I find man-made structures such as drains, racks, pylons the best.

What do you think?

I'm pretty much the same as you mate. I find racks, pontoons and bridges to be most successful for me. But i dont mind a bit of a flats session.

Good Thread..

I prefer deep drop offs and bounce plastics over the edge, works the best for me, but dont mind bridge pilons..

Cheers Daniel

I love underwater rock ledges/drop offs. At Iron Cove they're full of oysters and other goodies that bream like to munch on.

Some are massive rock platforms dropping off to about half a metre to sand and scattered rock, and others resemble more like steps, hence I nicknamed one of my favourite areas at Iron Cove "The Steps".

While i think plylons are the most effective overall, i love catching fish on marinas and bridge pylons the most.
but true alex-I will quite happily go whereever the bream are biting

Fallen trees, like in the Frankland river at Walople and flats. Love the trees coz of the impredictability of where the next big bream will race in from to nail the lure and the flats coz I love watching a school of bream home in on a lure and then the biggest one push in and take it....mmmmm memories
