walople atm

I have 6 days off work and want to do either walople or the blackwood ....what do u all recommend? how is walpole atm?>?

i hear the blackwood is crap atm

Just returned from a week long fishing trip with 2 mates down that nick of the woods and agree with Spaniel - Walpole. Between the 3 of us, we caught and released around 20 or so bream from 10 - 35cm in about 5 hours. One mate had never fished for anything other than herring with a blob, so teaching him how to catch bream on soft plastics was.....interesting! But he managed a couple remarkably (plus some horrible snag casts).

Snapbacks in pumpkinseed and avacado were killing it for me in softies, while my purple baby vibe 35 and halco scorpion sneaky 35 bloodnut worked in the hardbodies. I recommend the "sneaky" over the standard scorpion because it suspends rather than floating or sinking when you pause your retrive.
