im getting a live well built in the bow of my boat next week, can you kind people give me some ideas of how to setup the pumps and stuff that is needed for it to work as good as it can

When I set up my livewell I spent a bit more than most (ie $100) on the pump because; 1. It can run dry and not burn out 2. There is no pump hanging off the transom (bilge setup) 3. 3 year warranty 4. You can put it anywhere you want Other things to remember; *Make sure you overflow is big enough to cope with incoming water *Consider a timer *Make the design so all the water will drain out (pump out livewell and aerator combo head is great for this) *Make sure your lids seal or lots of water ends up in the hull or on the carpet Here's a photo of the pump out If I think of anything else I'll post up Here's a link to the sort on inline pump I'm on about Johnson pumps HTH Last edited by Stu_000; 24-01-2007 at 01:10 AM. |
