Fireline XDS

Looking on Campbells Pro Tackle website, I found a brand called Fireline XDS. It claims that it is more durable and smooth than normal fireline, which means it doesn't fuzz up as easily.

I use normal fireline but does anybody know where I can get some of this.

P.S. Remember, I live in Sydney so an online store would be best

Oh, I forgot, it has to be in 6lb breaking strain, that's why I don't get it from Campbells

It only comes in 8lb mate. Do a search, I think it's been mentioned a few times on the forum.

The 8lb has a diameter of .12mm(3lb crystal has a diameter of .10, so that gives you an indication of how thin it is)

I've got it on 3 of my reels, and I love the stuff! Very strong, ties great knots, and very thin. Only downside, is it comes in one colour, and that's the dark green.

Cheers

Dont be put off by the 8lb rating, fish it as whatever you want, it can go alot higher if need be, and if you want to fish it like 6lb, just back off the drag to what you'd use with 6lb.
