I've only used a Live Fibre personally, but I've held and casted a few others that i found nicer. Best thing about the Live fibre Texalium is it has such a strong butt section, clamped down on a Kingfish up at Jurien and the butt section was sooooooo strong!

Hey what about the Black Diamond, Millers and Graphite USA !!!!??? You got to be insane if you want it to be classified under "other" as they are worth considering. If you are considering GLoomis, then you should consider these too IMO

Can't vote to be honest. I have several rods from those makers listed (and not listed) and have yet to try several others (and several other makers models) Huh? Sooo many brands and models...........

My jury is out for good

Lone Ranger,
It does seem strange that Black Diamond who sponsors this forum was left out of the poll. This site particularly has a large BD following. Are you new to this site Fisherman#1?.
G. Loomis and Shimano (both owned by Shimano), Dawai, Strudwick (now under new ownership -Outer Mark) are expected to be on the list but also Black Diamond and yes, Millerods should be on the list as well. (Aren't Graphite USA a blank company?)
Anyway, those are my two cents worth but I think as others have noted, you need to add a few popular national Australian rod companies to your list.

The results show the weakness in this poll Cindy.

Over 50% of the vote or 14 out of 26 votes are under "other".

You can never get an indicative result when two popular high end rod manufacturers are excluded or placed in the "other" category.
