What rod??
looking to get a twinpower 1000 and need to choose a rod to match it. It's only for bream fishing, for extremely light lures. i have about $300 to spend. Any opinions on a choice?

If u do a bit of research round the forum u will find that a blackdiamond clearcut is a bloody beautiful rod. If i had $300 2 spend on a rod id go a clearcut for sure. i just placed an order in for a clearcut plus and hopefully it'll be arriving next week sometime.

 ... Well, with $300, you can buy my Graphite USA custom made rod for only $200 (new it's worth over $420). Although it's verbally sold, as far as I'm concerned it's not, learnt from my mistake. Then you will have $100 left for either a cheap reel or some softplastics!  Nah, seriously now, for that kinda money there is the GLoomis or the BDs HTHs

GUSA rods are tops, well worth considering. Nitro rods are also pretty nice and fit your budget.
