Personally id go the twinpower cause it seems to have better compnents and as for the 300yds of braid it should fit on easily as ive got 300yds of 4lb fireline on my 2000 sized shimano reel.

cheers mate

ive got 2 twinpowers and 1 sustain and love them both, luke is sorta right in saying that there yet to proove themselves but luke you must remember there on the market for a reason because they have prooved themselves... with a similar drag system to the stella i think there bloody great, also fitting 300 yards of 4lb or 6lb braid shouldnt be a problem....

Good luck with your choice i know how difficult it can be....

Quick question... Why do you need 300 yards of fireline on a bream/trout reel?

You'll never get into the backing if you only spool up with 125yards... save yourself some money

Fair enough then

I struggled to fit 150yards of 8lb XDS (.14mm diam I think?) fireline on my 2500 spools (daiwa)

Cheers

I settled on the Twin Power 2500, and it's never had a single wind knot in the time I've used it (either I'm a good caster or it's got good line lay). got a full 250m of 8lb on it, might have gone the Sustain if i could buy it again, but I spent the extra money on lots of plastics instead, so it's all good. Love my Twin Power.

I'd have to agree with superduperman (was that the best name you could think of ???). In all seriousness the twin powers are awesome reels and i believe are perfect for breamin. I've only got one (1000 size) and i'll get three more when my other shimano's give out but i can't see that happening for a while! The other reels are stradics and for our applications i think thier fine to!
I would be interested to find out what stella owners think of the twin powers though!!!
