new braid from climax

hi guys, for the last 6 months iv'e been using a new braid on the market from the climax stable. it's called climax soft and strong. it comes in 2 colours, olive and flouro yellow and iv'e found it the best braid that iv'e come across. it's available in sizes from 3.1kg (6.8lb) to 15kg (33.3kg) however the appropriate requirements for bream and bass are 3.1kg (6.8lb), 4.0 kg (8.9lb) and 5.0 kg (11lb). the diameters of this line are the impresive part in acordance to the line weight, as the 3.1kg has a diameter of only 0.04mm, the 4kg line has a diameter of only 0.06mm. which you'l find is finner in comparison to fireline. as you all know that when braid of any kind is spooled it will then at some point in time in it's early life will blow of the spool until it finds its happy medium. my experience with fireline is that iv'e lost up to 6 meters but this new line that is spooled on 6 reels has only lost a maximum of 1.5 meters per reel. this i beleive is because soft and strong is a pure braid unlike fireline which is stiff. any way if you want a change give it a go and you'l see how good it is,
steve duff.

cost

hi jay its relative to other braids, $20.00 - $25.00 for 100mtr, $50.00-$60.00 for 300mtr, the main thing is though its better than any other braid iv'e used, it's a pure braid and it doesn't fur up. steve duff.
