New Info on ClearCuts
Due to popular request we are adding another couple models into the range this month.
The 5'6 2 pc 1-3kg will join the CCs. Also, we will bring back the 6ft 1-3kg 2 pc And of course the 6'6 1-3kg 2 pc will remain along with the 6ft 2-4kg one piece and 6ft 1-3kg one piece. The two piece are proving very popular so we are adding more. Also, we are planning to put out a 4pc 6ft 2-4kg for those with travel needs. This rod will suit bream, trout, bass, flathead, ect. Good all rounder with moderate fast action. There will be even more ClearCuts appearing in the spring for barra, bass, snapper, cod, etc. so keep a watch. If you are interested in the extended sale on the ClearCuts, go to our forum for details. http://www.blackdiamondrods.com/cgi-...num=1151905104 For those interested: please send me an email or use our question or order form on our site. Thanks, Cindy |

I could arrange an opportunity for you to see them in Brisbane with one of our Anglers? We have sold a number to Brisbane anglers and maybe some on here might comment or show theirs to you. What models would you be most interested in?

Actually, one of our anglers will have a Flats Ranger 1-3kg in a week's time so you can check back with me then.

I'm off for a crack at some cod tomorrow so if I find I like that style of angling, you might hear from me once the cod rod makes its appearance.
No promises as yet, but providing it could double as a snapper rod I would be stepping my interest up to the next level of "Very" interested. Gaff

Ok. Gaffer. I gather you are meaning the future CC rod for cod fishing? In the meantime we have the Overlander in the Custom Plus range used on cod as well.

Hi Cindy
Yeah I'm referring to the CC version. I can't believe the value for money with that series. Awesome rods!! I'll see how I go over the weekend. Gaff

Are you refering to the price of the materials or the way they are put together. If you give me a some olive oil, a bottle of red, a sack of onions, a few cloves of garlic, some oregano, a can of crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper and a kilo of mince beef, I can make a killer pasta sauce. But I wont trust my mates to make it. So is it the chef? or the quality of the ingrediants? Ps - it cant be both - I'm wondering about the value for money

Why can't it be both. I think design of the rod, which includes guide placement, is as important as getting good materials to make the rod in the first place.

Hahahaha
I think it can be both. You can give the same ingredients to two different chefs and one might burn it or undercook it. The value for money comes from being happy with what you get in your hand for what you take out of your pocket. In this case we are lucky that we have a 5 star chef who only uses the best ingredients. lol If BD were a restaurant, I am sure it wouldn't be an all you can eat establishment Gaff
