fishing after heavy rain

Hi guys

Has anyone got an opinion on how to fish dirty water after recent rainfall? I am heading to the Yarra tomorrow to start my soft plastic crusade and didnt know if I should fish the dirty water or try to find cleaner water around the corner into the bay.

Regards Shoey.

I meant to say the water may be dirtier than normal(I should learn to think before I speak).

Often the line between the dirty and clean water can be a hotspot.
Don't forget that in an estuary like the Yarra their can be a layer of dirty, fresh water on the top but a clean salt wedge layer underneath it.

I think you'll do better lower down the river at present, down around the junction with the Maribyrnong and under Westgate is probably worth a try.
