HB Rod under 150

Just want to know what HB rods are out there under 150 dollars. The only rods i can think of are the pinpoint and the rack raider. Are there any others worth considering.

< $150

Browning Syntec IM8
Strudwick Sic Stik
Berkley Dropshot
Pioneer Spin
Daiwa Heartland Spin
Shimano "Steve Starling" Spin

Depends on how "soft" you like your HB rod, but that should keep you busy for a while fishoben....

The Browning is probably the stiffest in that list, how big are the HBs you want to throw?

2-4kg berkley dropshots make good hardbody rods on a budget, i have a pinpoint 3-5kg that i use for throwing hardbodies and bigger lures and it does the job well and for a 3-5kg rod its not too stiff so still gets a bend on fish unlike some other rods ive seen.
good luck with you shopping

The Strudwick is a worthy candidate, mate.

Id look at the Drop shot rod for throwing HB's. The Sic stik is a little floppy in the tip. The Drop shots just so much more crisp and better suited for throwing SX-40's.

cheers, Nathan

Take a look at Angler tech rods.

Same price and even crisper than a berkley dropshot rod.
