dark and light
what sort of lures would u use for dark water
and clear water i say dark lures for dark and light lures for clear water whats everyone elses opinion |

Depends whether you are matching any bait, or if you want a shock colour to trigger an aggressive response. Generally I'll use the ff.
Clear water: natural baitfish colours, silver, with blue/black or green. Redhead/white or red/yellow shock colours. Dark water: flashy gold schemes, bright yellow/red as a shock colour that also stands out well. Fire tiger. Let's not also forget that dark water can be tannin stained, or dirty. Tannin stained water is clear, like tea. Dark, dirty water is murky and doesn't let much light through. What also compounds the choice is the light levels. Bright light generally calls for subtler more natural colours. Overcast conditions mostly require brighter colors. |

i agree
in murky water it is good to use a lue that makes noise and is reflective as to flash threw the merkyness. it also depends on weather and time so if your not getting any thing try differnt things switch between sp and hb and bright to dull colours
