I use and recommend the rack raider rod in the 3-5kg 6"8' size 2 piece its more of a hard body rod than a placcie rod although you can use both I have a lighter rod in the 1-3kg class for the really light stuff.
Cheers Nathaniel

If you could let us know a budget you have in mind, it would help us recommend a few for you.

I recently bought a Diawa procaster V 7foot, that I matched with a stradic 2500, trying out 4lb fins for dedicated bream sp's and baby vib. It's more of an alrounder though cause the other spool has 10lb for taylor and sambo's. It goes pretty well though.
Had to get another rod as the boss, she likes her 6 foot heartlands with Stradic 1000to much so I only get to use that if she's not fishing. plus my Ian Miller OH with Curado just cant flick the smaller lures. |

Im a big fan of the dropshots and have several, the pick of these is the 7ft2 in 2-5kg, i recently bought a pflueger 7ft in 2-5 and it is a very nice rod, a bit softer than the 2-5 in dropshot but that was what i was after, they sell for around 95$ so try one i found them very good.

the only advice I can add is to ensure that they are suited for the casting of light wieght lures suited to Bream fishing.
Graphite is obvious given requirements. Budget is your only constaint as the choice is definitely out there

Its a little sloppy but I suppose it all comes down to personal preference really. Id take a good look at the Berkely drop shot rods. Great value for money and would be the more popular rod in your price bracket. Good luck choosing. Its so hard sometimes... cheers, Nathan
