St Croix Rods
Has anyone tried these spinning rods out. l know there fly gear is pretty sweet, but l'm wondering about the other gear. The finish on them looks really nice, l'm guessing they are up there in quality with most of the other rods.

Good Rods
Drewy,
They rods are well made and they are one of G Loomis' biggest competition here in the USA. My dad has two ultra light rods. One in the entry level premier line and one in the Avid series. Both fish sp's on jig heads very well. My usual crappie fishing partner also has a 6'6" Avid light action rod and it is also quite good. There rods are very nice indeed and the light and medium light actions would be good for bream I imagine. I am baseing this on the Loomis rods I have seen used for bream and the St Croix rods that are close in action. Hope this helps......... Ranger 175C/Brian

Thanks m8, you comments are much appreciated. l really like the look of them, l just would like to see one in the flesh. Buying through the net limits you so much, you can't look at the way the guides are set, ect, ect.

Hay Davo, watsup up, long time no see. How was the trip with the spiro, did yas get off shore?
l've just been looking around the net ect, and had a chat with a guy who said they where decent rods, so I checked them out and l'm thinking of importing a couple. There topline dropshot rod is about $500 landed, so I thought l should ask around 1st b4 l committed.
