Thumbs up methods of painting

what are the best methods of painting your own balsa hardbodies spray or brushes or is a air brush the best option? to get scale patterns etc is a mesh type material best ? thanks for the help what colur scheme produces the best catches for you?

can comeone please help him ive seen hes paint jobs and he needs serous help the lures arnt bad but the paint jobs are shockers some one that knows needs to help him.

The quality of the paint job is not that important as the colour scheme i think.
you guys remember the original baby attack red lures with the black blotches all over them???
As ugly as they are that colour and pattern is my fav and has caught more big bream than any other colour i have run literally hundreds of bream on that colour pattern and im down to my last two lures of that colour

what to do??? repaint all my remaining attacks to that or bite the bullet and get him to custom paint a few more for an order of a dozen or so new lures seeing he doesnt do that colour scheme no more???
Hes changes the red to a hot pink and it doesnt produce the goods at all now in my neck of the woods
decisions decisions decisions!!! what a dillemma!!!!!!.
