Mann's Stretch 5+ in pink (scarlet o'hara). Between myself and a mate I would say we have caught a dozen of so over the last couple of years on this lure. It also accounts for my PB bream at 42cm up at Moore River. We have caught mostly soapies but they are heaps of fun on bream gear. My biggest to date is 125cm and approx 10-12kg on that lure up Shelley way.

Regards Dave

Thanks fellas..

Have tonne of pink manns 5+ mostly flathead and tailor in the river..

Good depth lure and pink seems to be an attractor over chrome etc in dirtier water..

Something to have some confidence in when pursuing the species..

Cheers,

Anyone else?

Depending on the size of the Jewies that you can get where you are fishing there is a Hardbody called Jewie Bait (I think). For the life of me I can remember who makes them but they were in a Fishing World Magazinr about 6 months ago. I used to use them in Adelaide at the Coorong and they really rocked. I will see if I can find the mag when I get hom but the article was Jewies from the Stones.
They are about 6 inches long and come in a pilchard (mullie) colour and a mullet colour.

Shanks Bubba,

I have the info on SPs.

Some big plastics in the right places may turn up some bigger fellas.

It is this time of the year that Mulloway manage to make it into the Moore..

I dont have the time to make it up there but by now the water would have heated up and fish more active to lures..

Will chuck some pink+ around to see what happens..

Mr Top ender, were the pinks worked at the slowest means with twitches or more a medium speed?

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks in advance...

Acan
