Just flicking through my local rag and found a public notice from the dept of fisheries looking for members for recreational fishing advisory committees.
Just thought i would bring this to everyones attention as not everyone ploughs through the public notices of the newspapers.
im not sure what these committees achieve if anything or if its just fisheries going through the motions.
what i do know is that most people on this site are pretty well informed on the state of the local fisheries and have some pretty good ideas on how it could be managed into the future.
Im going to apply and i think a few members from breammaster should do also. Applications close on december 2 and should be made to
