New Reel

Hi all,

Just got myself a new shimano torsa and a Bluewater Deep Jip 24kg stick. Does anyone owns and play with this reel, what do you think of the reel?

Regards

Dan

hmm
Why?

(I presume YipD is referring to the Shimano T-Curve Deep Jig 400, and I don't think they sell that in Sinagpore)

He Probally just means the reel. rods are probally a bit harder to get home if his mum isnt wanting to lug a tube around.

The rod I mentioned is the bluewater T-curve which is just released a month ago. The rod is 7'6" in length which is longer than the deep jig 400(5'6" I believe). Why get the reel in singapore, I just been to HK, Singapore and Japn for work trip and the torsa over there is just about the same price so I decided to get one local and with 10 years warrantly!!! Just spent $1500+ today but I think the reel shall worth the $$$$

In fact, just so i can help you answer your question YipD, on what i think of the reel, why did you get it to match it with a rod like that?

Hi,

I could be wrong but from what i have heard, the torsa is not sold in Singapore as yet. It has been estimated to be released in feb or march in singapore. As for tackle shops in Singapore, head down to beach road and you shld be able to get what u need. thats where the whole row of tackle shops are situated.

regards
DArryl
