Yeah those price in the vid are U.S. prices - add postage to that and with the current exchange rate - Its around $175 Aussie dollars

I picked mine up from 1anaconda ($179 delivered) when they had their sale recently - (the sale is over) but I dont think they stock the 2000.

One of the positives of a heavier reel is it may balance out your rods - Especially if you like hacksawing 15cms off and adding a champagne cork fighting butt with pistol grip finnish

The heavier outfit actually balances better in the hand.

These custom sticks are pretty tip heavy - but the BG brought the balance point back 1cm to wards the reel

Thats why I went to the 4500 as it balanced up my 10'6 Daiwa Sea Bass nicely.

Yeah for these 2 rods - tip heavy is what I want - but they didnt have to be as tip heavy as they were with lighter reels.

The extra 50 grams on the BG (15% heavier) has helped balance things out a little

Couldn't resist to give the BG a try. Paid $159 for a 3000 yesterday.
