Yeah. I only use average reels (Aird, Ci4 Stradic, Ci4 Rarenium and a MINT Tournament Airity) but around $4k with a useless insurance company hurt

Hahah yeah that was me, worst thing is, I've just lost my passion for fishing. Can't even think about buying new gear to replace it. The money side of things I forgot about pretty quickly. Sucks when I'd only recently bought a pretty impressive boat haha.

That's a shame mate, hopefully you can reignite the passion in the near future. All the best

I now own 5 of these rods. 3 spin and 2 baitcasters and have been using them every time I go out.

A few weeks ago I managed to damage a recoil guide on a ISR 666 so went to a local rod builder to have it replaced. Mentioned that I have been having problems with line wrapping over the top few guides on all the rods due to the recoils.

So decided to replace all of the recoils on that rod to Fuji K guides.

What a difference! I fished with it all weekend with two reels in windy conditions. Line wraps only happened two or three times.

I don’t care if the weight of the rod goes up a few grams. I will be converting all of my Edge rods to K guides when I can.

Please pass this onto Mr Loomis when he comes over.

Have you thought of going torzite's as they are lighter than the k series guides.

I may look into them for the softer tip rods. But for the stiffer ones it doesn't matter.

That's pretty full on changing guides on a premium rods like that as these are already blown out of the water in pricing then you have to go changing guides on them it's beyond me but its your choice nothing the less.

I think u mean lighter than SiC's torzites are made in k frame guides too, just the inserts make the torzites lighter.
