electrics for a canoe

iam interested in bying a electric motor for my 4 metre fibre glass canoe can anybody recommend a good motor and price does not matter!!!
iam getting sick and tired of paddling 5 kilometres to my favourate fishing places!!!!!

look at the minn kota rip tide they are a good motor you will have to spend a bit for an electric motor as there is accessories like foot pedals though you shouldnt need one in a canoe. also spare batteries etc.and your canoe will need to be fitted with a bracket to put the motor on . good luck

Mate i had a 40lb min kota reptide on my 3.6m fiberglass with a 90amp deep cycle battery and it flew.. On the 5 speed nose up, tail down and it was skootin along! On a side bracket motor mount it is perfect.
