Hawksberry?
Hi guys
I've never fished the hawksberry river and wanted to give it a go. A mate and I r wanting to find somewhere to launch the yaks and chase a few. Bass, bream or flatties it doesn't really matter. We will be leaving from marrackville on the morning and happy to travel possibly 1 hr to 1.5hrs from there. Don't need any secret spots just somewhere we can have a good chance at a few and possibly not bothered by too many boats (if that's possible). I just really enjoy trying new water. Cheers dazz. |

Hey mate fished a few comps on the hawkesbury river it's a great place to get into some bream
Some good places to try for bigger fish are around the washes out barrenjoey headland and the pitwater flats Other places are deep water fishing around most of the bays in pitwater and shallow rocky banks up Cowan river though that needs tide flow and wind to be really productive

Cheers jay
I'll jump on google maps and see how we go. By the way your advice a few weeks ago for up the back of the shoalhaven paid off. We picked up a dozen or so bass between us, a small bream and flatties. The biggest bass went 43cm. Thanks mate |
