Used to be a favourite pastime for me and a bunch mates when I lived in country Victoria as a teen.
The annual fish bopping scourge cull. Good times....always ended up going through a few whacking sticks hehehe.

That is a massive effort - How much ground did you have to cover to get them.

Did you measure any of the big ones

Yeah I know the frenzy you get in - when were little we used to have a similar method of relieving Rabbits, with myxomatosis, of their daily worries

8 kids, 1 dog, a few donga's, some table legs and a hell of alot of running. Good times.

These days I prefer to pick off the introduced pests one at a time.

Thumbs up

Hate what carp have done to our rivers and lakes.
Kill as many as you can I say.
I read on another fishing site how you got rid of them with a front end loader or something, I might be mistaken.
I remember having a dong fest in a backwater in SA a few years back.
Me and some mates were using cricket and baseball bats chasing spawning carp....we must have dispatched at least a hundred or more.
And jeez did we stink afterwards too.

yeah Tinker it took the farmer 2 bucket loads with a rather large front end loader to get rid of them and your right i was putrid......probably the reason it looks like i have no friends
