MotorGuide Gateway Kit out $315

I have seen on the nitro and chsmith websites that the cable to connect the XI5 to lowrance sounders are out.
They are $315 and looks like you need a NMEA starter kit also if you don't already have one, theres an other $66
Does anybody else think these are crazy over priced being at the end of the day its just a cable? i know all the NMEA cables and connectors are pretty pricey.
I have been waiting for this connection for a while and am still going to get it but was a little shocked bye the price.
The new update for the sounders are out on the lowrance website.
Anyone else getting one of these?

I rung nitro today 2-4 week wait they are saying but are taking money for them now.
