$5000 Dollar Bream's

Has anyone been out chasing the $5000 Dollar (Boat Package) Summer Bream's tagged and released in Lake Illawarra ?

They had something similar for some trout and yellas in the Goulburn weir, they was a $5,000, $10000 and $10,000 fish. When I was paddling near some rapids, I saw the back of a trout and a tag on it!!!!

The first one was apparently released between the Berkeley Fish co-op and the Illawarra Yacht Club and the second one was released yesterday at the new timber jetty on the western side of Windang Bridge. The lake will be full of boats tomorrow as the 2013 Lake Illawarra Flathead Classic is on.

Yeap tried today and failed. No tagged Bream to be seen. Landed a few nice Flatties for the Classic but nothing worthy of a prize.

i might give this a go over the next few weekends. i've been fishing minnamurra lately but haven't fished the lake yet. this is good incentive

These guys are still swimming around just hope these afternoon winds go. Making it hard to get out and do a arvo fish with the southerly blowing.
